Strategy Deployment at Barnabas

Daily+Huddles.jpg

On July 23, 2019, LeanJax will assist the leadership team at Barnabas with the implementation of a strategy deployment board.

Strategy deployment is a Lean organization-wide method for aligning continuous improvement efforts with key business objectives. It enables organizations to select and prioritize critical Lean improvement efforts, taking into account available resources.

The focus of this exercise will be to:

  1. Select six to eight key result areas and one strategic initiative that aligns with each the area;

  2. Select one significant metric to track in each area;

  3. Capture the current state of each metric;

  4. Outline goals for one year and three years out;

  5. Prioritize and select Lean improvement efforts to reach these goals.

Strategy deployment will serve as a visual operating system that will clearly communicate the organization’s strategy to workers at all levels and align its’ Lean improvement efforts to tangible goals.

If your organization is interested in implementing strategy deployment or would like to learn more, please reach out to: James Bussell at leansupport@leanjax.org or (904) 742-2547.
