May 29 Lean Leader Meeting / Jacksonville Lean Consortium

  • Worth Stairs & Rails 4135 U.S. 17 Green Cove Springs, FL, 32043 United States (map)

Jacksonville Lean Consortium — May 29 Lean Leader Meeting

Come See How a Family-Owned Shop in Green Cove Springs Is Applying Continuous Improvement to the Real Needs of Their Business and Customers.

Most facility tours show you the production floor and call it a day. Worth Stairs & Rails will show you more.

WSR calls it their “Lean Experiment” — and it’s running through the whole building. Continuous improvement isn’t confined to the shop floor; it shows up in the offices, in how their information systems move work between teams, and in a few places you’d never expect. They’re opening the doors to their “Progress Lab” to show you the whole thing — what’s clicked, what they’ve learned along the way, and what they’re still refining.

Bring a couple of your team members. Bring the problem that’s been bugging you for six months. We’ll spend three hours digging into it with you.

9:00 – 10:00 AM | Introductions & Real Problems on the Table

10:00 – 11:00 AM | Inside the “Progress Lab” — The Tour

Walk the shop and the offices. See continuous improvement applied across the whole operation, including how WSR is leveraging their information systems to keep work moving across departments. Hear the real story. Ask anything.

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM | The Magic Show

Your host takes the problems surfaced in Hour 1 and works them in real time — turning them into clear, doable next steps. See some of the tools WSR has been quietly putting to work behind the scenes.

12:00 PM | Lunch & Collaboration

The conversations that started this morning don’t have to end here. Share a meal, swap ideas, and keep building the kind of First Coast network that makes everyone’s work better.
