904 Lean and Waste Warriors Dashboard
The COJ’s 904 Lean Initiative is focused on smarter governance, greater efficiency and responsible financial stewardship.
“This means faster response times, less bureaucracy, and better services for the public,” “When our people are spending less time on paperwork and administrative duties, that gives them more time to fix a pothole; to help deliver meals to the food insecure; to help a business owner get their permit faster; and to save lives at the Fire Department. 904 LEAN means a better quality of life for every Jacksonville citizen.”
Thanks to the exemplary leadership of Mayor Donna Deegan, Chief Information Officer, Wanyonyi Kendrick, Alex Peralta Munoz, and countless others, the COJ is well on its’ way to achieving its goals. 163 employees have earned Lean White Belts; 58 have earned Green Belts across departments; 68 Lean projects have been completed, eliminating over 263,000 hours of waste and saving an estimated $10 million dollars, all while improving the quality of life of its’ residents by streamlining critical processes throughout city government.
You can learn more about the COJ’s 904 Lean Initiative by visiting the Waste Warrior Dashboard. This platform provides real-time insights into its’ Lean efforts, tracking key metrics, highlighting employee contributions, and promoting transparency across teams. With features such as live performance updates, visual data representations, and continuous improvement tracking, the dashboard supports more effective, streamlined city services.
