Florida Certified Contractors: 2026 Planning & Leadership Alignment
On December 2, 2025, I had the privilege of co-facilitating Florida Certified Contractors’ (“FCC”) leadership team as they worked through their 2026 annual plan and Q1 goals.
I partnered with their Controller, Andrew Amrhein, whose financial perspective and calm, steady approach grounded the session and helped shape every conversation in a meaningful way.
This planning workshop is included in every Lean Jax membership level, and it gives leadership teams the structure they need to align with intention. Some organizations like to set direction before the new year begins, while others prefer to do so in January/February once the pace settles.
Either approach works, as long as the team makes time to revisit and refine their priorities together.
We opened the session with the S.C.O.R.E. framework: reflecting on successes, challenges, opportunities, roadblocks, and expectations. From there, the group shifted into a simple Kanban exercise to organize the work for the coming year. The discussions were practical, honest, and centered on supporting their people and delivering strong value to their customers.
FCC’s leadership team left the room aligned and ready for 2026, with clear Q1 priorities and a process they can return to as the year unfolds.
It's easy to enjoy this work when you're with leaders who put their people and customers first!
